NEW PEER REVIEWERS

JABFM peer reviewers serve a vital role in contributing to the field of family medicine and the scientific community. Reviewers generally receive 0-2 review requests per year, depending on the topics of manuscripts we receive. You are always free to decline a request or indicate unavailable dates. 

If you would like to volunteer to review for the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, please download and complete the Peer Reviewer Form, and email to the editorial office at jabfm@augusta.edu. 

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POLICY

We appreciate reviewers’ commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the peer review process. Consistent with JABFM policy, it is prohibited to upload any manuscript or manuscript components to any artificial intelligence platform due to confidentiality and copyright considerations. To support transparency in the editorial review process, peer reviewers will be asked to disclose the use of artificial intelligence at the time of review submission.
