AB Hypoglycemia associated with sulfamethoxazole therapy in patients with chronic renal insufficiency has previously been documented. We report the case of an elderly patient with relatively normal renal function who developed severe hypoglycemia associated with trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole therapy.
