An additional benefit to becoming trained in a method of FABMs, in my case the Creighton Model, is the expertise it provides to a Family Physician in prevention of recurrent miscarriage and efffective assistance to couples with infertility, as well as assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of many gynecologic problems. Over time, in my pracice, those additions to my professional capabilities have led to many referrrals into the practice, many saved young lives, and many loyal patients and young families. Most of these patients were not Catholic. Many women want to learn FABMs out of an interst in a more natural way of preventing pregnancy and understanding their fertility. Learning about NFP can empower a Family Physician to offer so much more to their patients, and as a result provide increased job satisfaction, an additional revenue source, many great memories.
