2021 was the 34th year of print and 19th year of online publication of the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine (JABFM). Here we provide our annual report of articles published in 2021 that were of greatest interest to our readers.

Table 1 shows the 10 most frequently read articles in 2021 from Volume 34. Once again, original research proves to be the most-read type of article. In Table 2, we provide the 10 most frequently read articles in 2021 from all volumes (Volume 1 to 34). Historically, clinical articles tend to be the most read. Table 3 shows the most accessed keywords on our website in 2021.
